I’m Dr. Nazar Syed. I’m a dentist with over a decade of experience. My clinical work is limited to sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, and minor oral surgery.

I have been providing IV sedation for 5 years, having completed my training with SAAD, and I am a full member of SAAD. To ensure I stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques, I regularly attend CPD events and conferences both nationally and internationally.

I have a passion for teaching and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a clinical tutor in oral surgery in a hospital setting, as well as running oral surgery courses for general dentists. In addition I am a recognised mentor to teach younger colleagues sedation techniques and supervise their training in sedation.

I work closely with nervous patients, using a combination of advanced behavioural techniques, psychological management, and intravenous sedation with medicines to help them overcome dental anxiety. I take pride in tailoring my approach to each individual, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and supported throughout their treatment.

I believe in a holistic approach to dentistry, treating not just the teeth and jaws, but the whole person. My goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centred care that prioritises both the physical and emotional well-being of my patients.
